Nutrition

According to the CDC, only 1 in 10 Americans eats enough fruits and vegetables.

“The foundation of human health is a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, grapes, and berries.”

- Dr Richard Dubois
Health Advisory Board, The Juice Plus+ Company

“I am a mom to three wonderful kiddos ages 7, 5, and 7 months. After dealing with diastasis and urinary incontinence while working out over the years, I decided it was time to work with a specialist to evaluate just where I was as far as severity of my condition, as well as advice on which movements were ok while getting back into the gym. I connected with Michelle, who is not only well educated in specifically these areas of women’s health, but she is also kind, compassionate, and makes you feel so comfortable during the evaluation process. I also walked away more confident in my body and with extreme hope that I can make things better (and have since our meeting) without drastic measures such as surgery. I am so thankful that our paths crossed! I will continue to recommend her to anyone who is pregnant, recently postpartum, or even years postpartum! She taught me its never too late to reverse and rehabilitate your pelvic floor and diastasis!”

During this time of COVID19, I am committed to offering you the care you need in the safest way possible. I am following suit with major local healthcare organizations in the safety steps I’ve implemented.

Safety steps include:

  • Daily temperature checks for myself

  • Clients are asked to fill out a screening questionnaire within two hours of their appointment time

  • I am masking; I am requesting that all clients also mask

  • I am asking that clients limit the people in the room during our session to just me and the client (no family)

  • I will be disinfecting the treatment table both before and after treatment in front of the client

  • I ask that if you are at all not feeling well, please reschedule

These are ever changing guidelines and will be adjusted as needed. At this time, only physical therapy sessions are being offered. Fitness training sessions will be phased in as NC allows gyms / fitness facilities to re-open. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi! I’m Michelle, Founder of All Natural Female.

I am a mom to three little boys who have taught me so much about womanhood, motherhood, and life. Nothing in my healthcare education prepared me for pregnancy, birth, or postpartum recovery. With my first pregnancy, at 40 weeks and 4 days, I was induced (for what I now realize was no good reason) and I ended up having a c-section birth. No one educated me about the pros and cons of having a c-section; no one educated me about what my recovery would be like after having this type of birth; and no one told me that, in the OB/GYN practice I was a patient at, I would not be allowed to attempt a VBAC in the future. I learned, over time, so many things that I wish I had known going in to my pregnancy and birth. When my youngest was 3 months old, I went to my first pelvic floor continuing education course and my passion in physical therapy was forever ignited in Women’s Health services. I am passionate about helping women with physical challenges that are unique to our bodies and our experiences.

I graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2006 with my Physical Therapy degree and first started treating female pelvic dysfunctions in 2011. Over the years I have seen first hand the struggles that women have in finding healthcare providers who will listen and believe them. I am on a mission to change that. I believe that every woman has a story that deserves listening to and I believe that every woman deserves qualified healthcare providers on her side who can help her achieve her health and wellness goals! I see that the access to care is not always there for women and I want to make that access as easy as possible by bringing care to directly into your home at a time that is convenient for you. You shouldn’t have to worry about finding childcare, re-arranging your work schedule, or forgoing care altogether because of the barriers. Working together, we can change the landscape of female healthcare in this country!

What People Are Saying

“I am a mother of three who sustained significant injuries during my last two births (diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic floor dysfunction to name a few). I had been to a half dozen providers to try to find answers and get relief for the pain I was experiencing. My first meeting with Michelle, she spent the majority of it asking me questions and taking notes and putting the pieces of my story together to uncover what was actually going on in my pelvis. No other healthcare provider had done that. She is very knowledgeable and has a gift at being able to pass that knowledge on in layman’s terms. She gave me tools to manage my pain and heal myself. And went the extra mile to acknowledge and support the emotional healing I needed from those birth traumas as well. That felt priceless to me! Her bedside manner is kind and respectful. After just a few sessions I was able to feel huge improvements in pain management and felt empowered to continue my healing journey. I am now pregnant with my fourth child and have so much confidence about pregnancy and postpartum with the knowledge and skills that Michelle continues to provide. I can not recommend her enough!”

"As the mom to 4 kids, I have struggled over the years with pelvic floor strength and core integrity and really even understanding the symptoms my body was giving me. Michelle came highly recommended! She came to my house for my visit. Michelle very patiently walked me through each step of the assessment before moving on to the physical assessment. She explained so clearly the goals of her assessment and described what she was finding along the way. Michelle is kind and professional in a way that made me feel at ease. Michelle gave me some suggestions and exercises, she emailed me a detailed description of my treatment plan and checked in to see how I was progressing. I’m so grateful for her dedication and passion to women’s pelvic health! I highly recommend Michelle as a pelvic Physical Therapist."
